Come Follow Me Moroni 1-6
Here we are- in the second act of a three-act production. Mortal Life. A small blip in eternity. What are we here for? A mortal body. To feel pain and other feelings. Training for our post-mortality. The important turning point of before – to after. What do you strive to be like then? We have a perfect director who lets us play our role as we define it. In Him we also have a perfect example. His example shows that we will become more than we can understand in our limited, human form.
Like Him- Aaliyah Rose, 2020 Youth Festival
Feel like just one in a crowd? Unnoticeable or insignificant? I was at a conference recently where Michael McLean still taught this powerful lesson – just like he does in this video posted years ago by jetmonroe.

It’s 2005. The first year of the Tuacahn Summer Theater Academy in Ivins, Utah, under the direction of Jan Shelton. The cast is high school students from around the state performing Les Miserable, lead by Matthew Clegg as Jean Valjean. As a parent of one of these young performers I watched night after night. It wasn’t just Matt’s clear and flawless performance of this song that brought me to tears each time, it was also the goodness he showed on and off stage that resonated in the plea of this song – this intercessory prayer.
One night the power went out, the show couldn’t continue. Matt stood on the dark stage holding a candle, sang this in an unforgettable a’capella voice.
I hear it being prayed by another’s voice, in my behalf. Bring her home.
There are many recordings of this song, but this is closest to young Matthew Clegg. Thank you Matt, for bringing this home to us. For being like Him.
Bring Him Home- Alfie Boe
Carrie Yost has received the LDSPMA 2024 Spark Award for this music video. She encourages us to get involved in things that matter to us in this world.

Our little efforts matter. We make a difference. We can be like Him.
